The push up is the gold standard for upper body strength and bodyweight training programs. What most of us don’t know that it’s proper execution requires exquisite core stabilization and shoulder stability. At Crossroads Bootcamp we insure our clients get the most of out the time spent with us so we’re focusing on proper technique and cues for your push ups. While it might seem you are primarily working your chest and shoulders, much of your form comes from core strength and stability. Connecting to the core enables us to stabilize our bodies into plank position and helps gird the shoulders so we aren’t overusing the neck and upper traps.
