“I’m too out of shape for CrossFit”  The coaches at CrossFit on 18th say B.S.

Last week there was an article in the CrossFit Journal (If you don’t subscribe to this shame on you) written to CrossFit coaches about how to coach from scratch.

Some of you reading this remember when you first walked into the gym and saw some of the “big dogs” tossing around big weights and doing very fast pullups back to back.  But there are also some of you who are thinking about getting into shape and believe that CrossFit requires a fairly high base level of fitness to get started.

Read this article and think otherwise.  Stephanie Vincent who is a Level I certified CrossFit instructor from CrossFit King of Prussia.  When she first walked into the gym she was 100 pounds overweight and was physically inactive her entire life.

She says that CrossFit isn’t about attaining a baseline level of fitness but about exploring the full potential of ones fitness.

CrossFit and CrossFit on 18th deliver on that promise.
