What’s the Worst CrossFit WOD for you.

What’s the Worst CrossFit WOD for you.

Feb 13, 2011

If you have been around CrossFit for a little while you have workouts that while hard you would prefer to do compared to others.  For me Helen combining 400 meter runs (which one 400 hard sucks for me) pushups and heavy kettlebell swings earns my vote.

For some of us workouts with planned breaks or intervals might be harder than a longer 20 minute AMRAP workout.  In fact CrossFit gym owner, top CrossFit games competitor and national certification instructor has never been able to complete Barbara because as she becomes “stymied” as she kindly puts it.

Take a few minutes to enjoy this CrossFit Journal article by Richard Grimes, than take a few minutes to share your worst CrossFit experience in the comments section.

WODs with a lot of unbroken pullups are the worst for me. Last week’s Danny was a grinder for me.

Oh by the way, I also hate thrusters, burpees, and box jumps. In that order…

  2. Also remember the first time I did Fran. It was at my CrossFit Level I certification. I didn’t know how to kip on my pullups so I did every pullup strict from a dead hang. They capped it in 10 minutes and I was still 5 pullups short. Nothing left of me but the problem is that since I can move much faster the metabolic demand is far greater and its probably harder. Don’t you love this stuff?
